The film opens with Danny Brice and his mentor, Hunter carrying out a murder in Mexico. Everything goes right until a kid is unexpectedly in the car of the target. This leads to Danny reticent from the profession to Australia.

After a year later, he receives a packet with a plane ticket and information. Hunter is being held hostage in Oman. When Danny flies to Oman, the Sheik tells him how three of his four sons have been killed by British Special Air Services(SAS) officer. His sons death must be retaliated so that the Sheik’s fourth son can take over. The Sheik has six months left to live and Danny must complete the mission before then or Hunter will be killed. Just to confuse matters, all of deaths must look like accidents or natural causes and a taped concession must be gotten before they die. Upon accomplishment Danny will be paid six dollar million and Hunter will be freed.

After the first “accident” is noticed by ex-SAS Spike and a secret society of ex-SAS known as The Feather Men.  “Killer Elite” delivers a decent amount of action and suspense for Statham fans. Action movie fans may find it a little slow moving given the complexity of the plot. Worth seeing in the theatre.

The film is for strong violence and nudity. It is also not suitable for  kids. Next, I feel this film is not upright enough to walk away fulfilled and not bad enough to find any variety of wilful enjoyment. Killer Elite also feels like a freshener of better film shaken up and assassinated out to create a theatregoing experience so cold and flat you could skate on it. But a little problem is the director Gary McKendry and writer Matt Sherring have no idea what to do with that premise. The film tries to be action and dream and fails spectacularly at Both.

The film also is based on a book that is supposed to base on a true story. But the time is over and a highly doubtful claim. The characters make the poor decision and no motivation and even halfway into the lumbering 100 minute running time. I can not know who is fighting and why they are fighting.
